Here it is. Our first blog post - the start of a project that is so important to us at namuk. It's where we hope to inspire, share, and be transparent with you. The blog is a chance for us to tell you more about our products, but even more importantly, about our values.
No grandiose claims or lofty exaggerations here
The team behind namuk is a small group of outdoor enthusiasts, and each one of us is an "expert" in our own field. The most meaningful reward for us is your trust, and we don't just mean trust in our products, but also in us as a team. So we want to show you our true, authentic selves - no grandiose claims or lofty exaggerations here.
We´ll show you who we are, as well as, what, how and where we produce. We will explain our background and why we work with certain materials, be transparent, communicate our sources, and admit when we make a mistake.
Together with guest authors, we´ll tell you about trips, travel, and outdoor experiences with kids. We´ll go into nature together and get to know it, understand it, and love it.
These five topics will be our focus:

Behind namuk
Life with kids
Everyone gets to have their say here. We don't just listen to mom and dad or the team behind namuk. Kids also get to have their say.
Children's voices are the most honest voices. Children think out loud and don't beat around the bush. There's nothing sugar-coated. That's an inspiration for us at Namuk. We inspire children and children inspire us.
Honest, brave, intuitive
And because we always produce with a focus on the needs of the little ones, we have conducted the most honest of all outdoor target group surveys. The answers are so beautifully honest, brave, and intuitive.
"Snail shells and lots of stones."
"Sleet."
"Going on treasure hunts."
"Water bottle, camera, snacks, rope, incase someone gets injured."
"I went cycling with my mom and then two deer ran across the road.
It was so nice."
"Duck, dog, fish, water, stones."
"Eating outside, painting outside, enjoying trees,
looking at clouds, sometimes a cat or a dog comes by."
"Hiking shoes, so I can stand in the water,
pants that can be shortened and NO jacket."
"The owl."
"Shiny treasures and a ball of chocolate paper."
Conversations with children give you so much. They are pure inspiration. If you feel like asking your kids as well. We would be very happy if you shared their answers with us. #itsbetteroutside #itsinspirational
