A seriously good backpack - from leftover fabric

Extreme mountain climbers are only as good their gear and explorers only as good as their equipment. With our new Eon backpack, our little big expedition leaders’ supplies are guaranteed to remain dry, come what may.

But Eon is not only completely waterproof; this backpack can really take a licking in every way. To make Eon so tough, we use textile fibers that are up to 15 times stronger than steel. The chest strap has a safety buckle that pops open under heavy load. And because we don’t want the mountains that kids climb in the future to be trash mountains, we make use of fabric remnants from past product lines. Thus Eon proves itself a loyal companion, be it for day trips, hiking from cabin to cabin or prowling around the urban jungle.

The roll top is a cinch to open and the inner lining can be pulled out easily for cleaning or to use as a sit pad in the forest. The completely reflective drawcords provide visibility in the twilight and at the same time help to compress the backpack when provisions have been polished off. And should a sweater happen to get wet in a sudden downpour, it can be transported comfortably on the outside of the backpack. A water bottle, too, can be carried handily in the side pocket and fixed with an additional elastic band – so it is always at the ready, yet safely stowed away.

All that is now available in an even more eco-friendly option. We use fabric remnants from previous colorways. It’s a win-win: We prevent waste, and kids get the fun of wearing unique styles in very limited quantities - truly one-of-a-kind gear!
